Capital? What about Country?Reader comment on item: The United Nations Misplaces Israel's Capital City Submitted by Consul-At-Arms (United States), Sep 13, 2017 at 17:00 Perhaps I'm missing something, but unlike the neighboring "Syrian Arab Republic," "Lebanon," and "West Bank;" not only is either of Israel's possible capitals not so-marked, but neither does the country's name appear either. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: The name of the country is loud and clear at the top left of the map. Reader comments (7) on this item
