Socialist loathing of the Working Class

I read as much of the editorial by Matthew d'Ancona as I could stomach. It is pure character assassination, which completely ignores the central message about Islamist infiltration into the UK.

Concerning the "champagne socialists" who have no connection with (and actually loathe) the working class that they purport to be champions of, James Delligpole recently interviewed the daughter of one from Berkeley, CA:

Her name is Ashton Whitty. She was raised by a typical San-Francisco-Area liberal family, but turned conservative (the philosophy, not the UK party) as a teenager. She notes that the same liberals who voted in favor of integrating poor blacks into white, working-class neighborhoods, themselves had their children taken out of public school and sent to private schools, or to public schools in non-integrated neighborhoods and suburbs.
