IntegrationReader comment on item: Europe Wake Up! Submitted by ECAW (Sweden), Dec 16, 2018 at 06:14 Much as I admire Dr Pipes' work, some of his positions strike me as just plain wrong. The claim that we must, or even can, integrate Muslims is one of them. The citizens of Medina tried, and look how that turned out. Lax or merely cultural Muslims are one thing but I cannot see how Muslims who really believe, as they are told in the Koran, that Mohammed is a good example to follow can settle in the long run for anything less than domination. Hindus and Sikhs don't need us to integrate them, they just do it themselves, but even Trevor Phillips, the former chairman of the UK Equality and Human Rights Commission, has warned us that "Muslim communities are not like others in Britain and the country should accept they will never integrate": https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3418620/Muslims-not-like-just-accept-never-integrate-says-former-racial-equalities-chief-Trevor-Phillips.html I suggest that, with integration not an option, if we cannot stop current demographic trends there will come a time when the non-Muslim populations of European countries will be faced with a choice of subjugation or civil war.
