It is unlikely that the Palestinians will accept, in principle, that the major settlements will be part of Israel

Whereas Israel can accept - in principle though not in practice - Trump's proposal minus allowing the U.N to rule over part of Jerusalem.
If ever the Palestinians would genuinely wish to make peace, what Trump proposes giving them would be acceptable.
The Palestinians will almost certainly say no.
