Reynald de Chatillon's statement about moderate MuslimsReader comment on item: Melbourne's Petite, Shy, Honors-Student Jihadi Submitted by Prashant, Feb 15, 2019 at 23:57 Dear Dr Pipes, Like all sensible people around the world, your frequent reader Reynald de Chatillon also wondered about the statements of the so called moderate Muslims. Reynald said that the moderate Muslims ostensibly say what we want to hear but secretly they might be agreeing with the goals of the extremist Islamist organizations. Actually, you do not have to be a great speaker or thinker to make a simple statement that Islamic countries lack democracy, and severely restrict people's ability to think and act freely. That no Muslim person from Fareed Zakaria to Aziz Ansari to Keith Ellison to Linda Sarsour to Ilhan Omar ever makes this kind of an statements without ambiguity indicates that moderate Muslims just do not exist.
