It Can Be Done

Seeing and experiencing the same thing as Prof. Treadgold, my colleagues and I are opening a new liberal arts college in August of this year. Mount Liberty College will offer a true classical education, grounded in the great books and free inquiry. Located in Salt Lake City, our tuition will be a fraction of that of other, even public, institutions in the area. We are opening with a $20,000 grant from the Sorenson Legacy Foundation, and we will start small (20 students this first year). Reclaiming the true purpose of education has to start somewhere.
