Comaring Erdogan to the EU leaders is not really fairReader comment on item: Istanbul's Election Puzzle Submitted by Michael S, Jul 8, 2019 at 18:47 Hello, Sheikh. I am not surprized at the actions of Juncker, Tusk and Co. They are simply practicing runaway partisanship at the expense of any respect for truth or reality. The US Left does the same, constantly flip-flopping their "facts" to fit their transient party requirements. It's a case of pathological lying and double-standards. Mr. Erdogan, on the other hand, does not seem to have any standards whatsoever, his only partisanship is toward his momentary personal whims, and he often defies logic -- even to his own hurt. The EU leaders, in comparison, appear downright fair and reasonable. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
