The leftist progressive threat to values and beliefs

You make good points on sex education and you are not alone in your concerns. Extreme age-inappropriate content in sex-ed programs and what can only be described as gender-ideology pushed by pro-abortion and LGBTQ organizations has resulted in widespread revolt on the part of concerned parents and allied organizations.

In addition to protesting, engaged parents in the US and Canada have directly taken on their local school boards but more often than not find they get suppressed, tuned out or sidelined. This is typical of the arrogance of liberal group-think progressivism. It has contempt for traditional values and beliefs derived from centuries-old standards of morality. The so-called "progressive" movement that has only been around for a few short decades in the modern era... knows better.

An international movement against this insidious agenda in the schools has been growing. A former teacher who was at the forefront of parent protests in Texas is quoted in the Catholic World Report: "We are uniting with parents across the globe to demand that our rights as parents be respected regarding the teaching of sexuality and sexual orientation. Hands off our kids!"

The reason the progressive agenda has been able to infiltrate our institutions so quickly in recent years is due to the complicity of mainstream liberal media and the new tech "gods." They have been instrumental in promoting and normalizing this agenda... be it gay rights, radical feminism, transgenderism, pro-choice activism, gender bending pronoun advocacy, gender-ideology in the schools and related issues. Voices opposed to the leftist program are invariably presented on these platforms as reactionary, misinformed or out-to-lunch. Critics get muted and sidelined, as has been the case for example with pro-life video content.

Radical progressive advocacy rides roughshod over centuries of received wisdom and traditional morality codes. It is an agenda that would have been a total anathema to earlier civilizations and still is in fact an anathema in countries around the world where it cannot make any headway at all. Vladimir Putin has gone on record saying that while homosexuality is tolerated in Russia, there is no tolerance for what he refers to as "homosexual propaganda" in the schools and contends that children should be left alone and not interfered with. Sage advise when you consider the bizarre gender experimentation that has been making headlines in the West, often involving very young school-age subjects.

My earlier example of The Guardian and others projecting progressive values as the prescribed way forward is given weight by content that while not obviously propagandistic, makes assumptions that aren't an accurate reflection of mainstream reality. However it is a progressive outlook that is given enormous traction in leftist media worlds and so appears to have much wider acceptance than it actually does. Let's not overlook the fact that the non-involvement of parents in protests does not imply consent.

The opposition to the progressive agenda runs deep but given the punitive nature of liberal apparatchiks and their group-think followers, many are afraid to publicly express dissent for fear of being victimized.
