Stalin's policies resulted in the death of millions

"Enforcing" economic equality comes with its own set of problems. In brutally overhauling Soviet society Stalin sacrificed millions of his people... for example the destruction of an entire class known as the kulaks (farmers). The implementation of the notorious order #00447 in 1937 basically triggered state-sanctioned genocide. In addition up to a million Russians were executed under Stalin, not to mention the deaths caused by famine, forced deportation and massacres.
