Respectfully disagree

I find myself, perhaps for the first time ever, in disagreement with Mr. Pipes.

1. Tliab and Omar are no Helms. They are both Islamic, and openly antisemitic, as well as supportive of violent jihad against Israel. A visit to Israel by them will not result in any epiphany.

2. Their visit was organized by a radical Islamist group:

"In addition, the organization that is funding their trip is Miftah, which is an avid supporter of BDS, and among whose members are those who have expressed support for terrorism against Israel"

They have no intention of meeting with any Israeli officials. No opportunity to provide them with a warm welcome was going to be allowed to present itself.

3. Omar and Tliab are enemies of Israel. Daniel Pipes has correctly called for absolute victory over the Palestinians as a solution to the conflict. Allowing enemies who openly state their plan to come and do harm to your state does not follow this doctrine.
