Hostility Towards The Zionist RealityReader comment on item: Will Arab Anti-Zionism Revive? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Jan 9, 2020 at 13:45 Anti-Zionism (AKA anti-Semitism) has been a reality of Judaic life from before the memories that helped established the original Jewish national identity; for the reality is that the children of Jacob were led to replace the pagan entities that inhabited the land promised to Abraham, his successor Isaac, then Jacob and all the Israelites. That the other supposed inheritors thought they have a claim is the basis for all sorts of reasons to hate the Jewish nation throughout the eons of Middle Eastern history, but the modern expressions are all the more challenging for many; for the reality is, much of the prophetic expectations are now in full processes of being completed. They are the source of the conflict over Jerusalem, just as it is written in the Tanach. Therein lays the crux of the matter; there is nothing that these modern antagonists of Israel are doing or saying that has not been written about and there are no more surprises left. It is the Zionist reality. The suggestion is to make friends with it or face the consequences of being left out.
