Anti-Zionism-Latent or Openly Expressed is Still SimmeringReader comment on item: Will Arab Anti-Zionism Revive? Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Sep 2, 2020 at 14:42 Even as the arrangement of the UAE and Israel is still being debated for the 'greatest' peace deal in 25 years and follow-on attempts to get others in the region to barter their own arrangements (Kushner has been really busy), the overwhelming gorilla in the room is still anti-Zionism. Very few, if any are embracing the idea that replacement ideologies will need to submit to the possibility that Zion as a political reality will remain in force and effect, essentially forever. That this lingers in the background is likely part of the reluctance of other Arab contingencies and political constructs are all that willing to rush into the same deal as the UAE. It is Israel's seemingly strong economy and business acumen that draws potential partners for peace, not the ideological struggle of partnering with the eternal entity of Zionist Israel. It is that reality that will expand the fracture of relationships in the region, along with the continued rebellion of the world that still does not know how to understand why Israel must remain a Jewish State while the rest of the nations are subdued.
