Thank you, Dr.Pipes -- Donald Trump is worthy of support

Thank you, Daniel, for your admittedly VERY qualified endorsement of Donald Trump for a second term.

I personally like the President, right down to his egotistical bombast. I feel much more at home with an honest braggard than with a cultured liar. The latter, in fact, makes me want to retch. Having said that, I share your caution -- but not about President Trump. I am cautious about the majority of Americans who will, given an honest choice, vote for him. Donald Trump has truly been a man who acts and delivers on what he said he would do; and what he says is spot-on in tune with the voters who support him. What gives me pause, is that the country is heading into such a wartime, bunker mentality, both sides will excuse outlandish speech and behavior to advance what they think is "their" cause. Examples:

1. On the Libtard/Anarchist side, abusing authority, deliberately destroying small businesses (of all races and ethnicities), flat-out, murderous hatred of Christians and Whites, and attempting to obliterate history -- ALL history -- and replace it with a paganesque mythology.

2. On the Conservative (US sense, not British) side, comments I see on blogs like, "Nuke the Chinese", that begin in mischief and will end in unthinkable madness.

Donald Trump is the ONLY US President I have known in my 72 years, who has repeatedly acknowledged and honored the God of Israel -- a cause for ridicule by the Libtards, but a matter of great importance to me. As for the First Lady, she is the only presidential figure I have ever heard of, whose inaugural speech consisted entirely of the Lord's prayer -- and what's more, it came from a heart of deep conviction. The Trump Administration is also, as you know, the most pro-Israel administration ever; and one, I will add, which follows through on not only its own word but also the word of US government promises spanning decades (promises mostly unfulfilled until now).

The Bible, both OT and NT, speaks of an end-time period of 3½ years -- just shy of a US presidential term -- of a leader who will be favored by the people of the earth to the point of worship.. I frankly don't think anyone, in his wildest imaginations, would picture that person to be Donald Trump; but someone or something opposing him could very well be that entity. If that party wins in November, my heart cries out for the suffering the world will endure.
