Anticipation of the Killing Kind:
As the UAE peace agreement is advancing through the region (and around the world) and the minds of those who may struggle with the idea that any kind of peace arrangement is an affront to the lifelong desires of other ideologic mindsets for the Middle East, it cannot be helped to notice the dialogues surrounding this peace effort are in some respects, paying lip service to a process; but as observed before, ulterior motives are still being pondered for the advantage this pause in rancor my provide. It is surmised here that while this may seem like it helps Israel in her struggle to survive in a world that is less than hospitable towards Israel, it may be only a short while before the reality of Israel's continued existence is displayed in a way this current peace arrangement could never have anticipated. Strangely, it shows a divided world that does not know how to achieve peace. It goes back to an earlier contention discussed here and elsewhere in this forum: does peace in the Middle East truly require an Israeli victory?
We see a world with ancient antipathies and current enmities surrounding Israel like hyenas and vultures circling and swirling, waiting to pounce and alight on a struggling Jewish existence that, amongst everything else, is trying to survive the pandemic of COVID-19 like so many other nations around the globe; so this recent peace accord seems like a breather that gives a slight hope that Israel might be given room to beat the deadly virus and at the same time hold the virulent attitude of her closest enemies at arm's length, chiefly, in order to gain some internal solidarity to keep the struggle of democracy alive for all stakeholders, even as some are determined to gain their own control in the face of the enemy's (both internal and external) desire to strangle the democracy out of Israel.
Peace is so fragile that it does not require too much pressure or all that much effort to kill the desire for it. Much, if not most of mankind, has been in conflict with limited resources to end hostile intentions, the sordid morbidity of selfish attitudes having free reign, and divisions of any kind being given co-sovereignty in seeing how quickly humanity can be driven to self-destruction for the innate desires of power over all taking hold of intellectualized dreams of conquest. As it is written; there is no peace for the wicked. And for such intents and purposes, only a few try to obtain peace, the predominating influence is to obtain victory.
So, the UAE agreement does not portend to peace overall, but to the expedience of the moment. We can anticipate that, though there are others that are in a seeking mode of having their own arrangement, not all are on the same path and the real anticipation can be directed towards the still hostile intentions of those that are on the same path as the Iranian Islamic Regime and her horde of hostiles all around the 'Palestinian' enclave in the European Union. It is here that the true circumstances of how to obtain a full peacetime situation for Israel are to be coerced from ancient enemies, none of them realizing that when Israel does get her peace, they will have been sacrificed for the process and looking back, maybe they should have looked at the UAE peace arrangement and find some means, any means, to have a cause for peace of their own.
