Morphing Middle Eastern IntentionsReader comment on item: The Latest on Islamism (and Related Topics) Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Nov 2, 2020 at 18:55 Turkish Contentions for Iranian Intentions: As we see the Middle East attempting to adjust to extremely uncomfortable changing fortunes as Israel seems to be adapting to moderated tones of lesser hostilities in the Arabic realm, the caveat that other Muslim antipathies are in no means converted totally to seeking Middle Eastern peace is evident in the rest of the Islamic community, most notably the non-Arabic spheres of influence, one such quarter in southeast Asia as Malaysian ideologies are influencing that region to be even more hostile than purportedly the proxy interests emanating from the Iranian Islamic Republic/Regime, decidedly still quite hostile in its focus.
