Political victory means: stop feeding the parasitesReader comment on item: The IDF Opts for Victory Submitted by Dave (United States), Nov 25, 2020 at 21:49 The Palestinian issue has become fodder for parasites. There are the parasites in the PA and Hamas bureaucracy that suck up international aid and reject meaningful compromise in order to keep the taps running and hear the applause. There are the parasites in the government bureaucracies and academia who have made distinguished careers out of solving the Palestinian problem, as though it was some sort of chronic pandemic. There are the parasites in corrupt Muslim regimes who use the Palestinian controversy as an excuse to not deal with Israel, thereby keeping the bloodthirsty mob at bay and their rule secure. Worst of all are the parasites among extremist groups and Islamist regimes like Iran and Turkey who use the Palestinians as an excuse for violence. The question is: how do we starve the parasites? A good start was the approach of the Trump administration in cutting funding to organizations like the PA and UNRWA, as well as boldly and publicly countering a lot of the mythology and propaganda constantly pumped out by the self-serving parasite community. With the advent of Biden and what appears to be an Obama-redux team - parasites abound in the swamp - the task will have to be continued by others. That will mean harder work by private organizations, a deepening of alliances with Muslim realists who have the courage to speak out, and a public, no-nonsense stance by the Israeli authorities. If we stand firm, stick to our guns and keeping telling the truth, we may yet see the parasites start to shrivel up and die.
