There is nothing new under the sun

Verse 1:9 of Ecclesiastes seems to me the appropriate for the situation that you describe. "What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun." Although the modern technology has not affected human behavior that is ingrained in the human psyche due to evolution of million years. What the technology did is speed up the process and what took many years transpires before our eyes at a fast pace.

It always ends the same way. The leftist revolutionaries first turn on the conservatives and then they turn on their fellow revolutionaries. A few examples such as the French Revolution, the Soviet revolution, the Khmer Rouge regime, and the Chinese cultural Revolution have demonstrated it
Knowing how this ends gives little comfort for conservatives that have to experience to be turned into outcasts I don't know what to suggest to fellow conservatives other than hunker down and try keep their "insane" sanity in this crazy world.
