Please understand what Paul says about Jesus

The resentment over the ultimate Jewish rejection of Jesus's divinity has evolved from the initial disappointment that the majority (?) of people to whom God has sent the long awaited messiah, their own messiah has not been understood.
As Paul writes: the zeal for God is not enough. An understanding heart is necessary.

And no, it's not true that Christianity like Islam purports to tell the story of a significant figure long after his death.
The witnesses to the death and resurrection (incl Paul) were who started Christianity as just a new sect within Judaism
