Why are the Islamists/Muslims silent?Reader comment on item: Middle East Migrants: Stay in Your Culture Zone Submitted by Prashant (United States), Oct 5, 2021 at 00:50 Dear Dr Pipes, One must womder that if Islam is so much better than other religions why Muslims seek refuge in non-Muslim nations. Any one with a double digit IQ will notice this contradiction and speak about it. Muslims and their apologist partners (the likes of Reza Aslan, Rafiq Zakaria, Ilhan Omar, Arsalam Iftikhar and countless others) are fairly vocal. When they come on our TV shows, these people appear intellectual, articulate, and suave. They also pretend to be honest, logical and fair. They preach democratic values to the Americans, Europeans, and (even) Indians. That begs the question as to why these great Muslims fail to see the above contradiction. Why is Islam superior if it is in so much misery? And, if it is in so much misery, why it does not concede defeat and try to improve. Thank you very much for writing the above blog. Your blog speaks the truth that must be spoken and repeated two billion times so every Muslim on the planet hears it. In my opinion, Syria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan are real-world laboratories to demonstrate that Islam does not work. We need to highlight the learnings from these laboratories and repeat them until the truth dawns on Muslims.
