Marxist Secularist Ideology Missing From Global Warming Conference?Reader comment on item: Twenty Years After 9/11 Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Nov 1, 2021 at 10:11 Did we read right that Russian and Chinese representation is missing from Glasgow? Is the G20 operating under some independent premise of thinking that the 'greatest threat' to global contentment is making sure the temperature of the environment does not boil off the ice packs at the poles? If the one country that has the most exposure to loss of ice pack coverage and the other that produces more than its fair share of carbon monoxide atmospheric injections are not concerned enough to make some measurable contribution to diminishing such exposure, then what are the others doing? Maybe they need to pay more attention to the greater threat of nuclear consequences in the Middle East. Too many politicians and not enough statesmen?
