Mr MenezesReader comment on item: Britain and France Submitted by sarah (United Kingdom), Nov 3, 2005 at 07:53 Daniel Pipes - did you not see the pictures or read the terrible story of the poor man, Mr Menezes? He was shot at Stockwell station and totally innocent. Maybe you should write an article on this - and how careful we all should be!If we want Arab communities in our country we will. For some poor arabs it is the respite they get from a intolerable part of the world. We will sort out our problems without ever-ceasing whining from other countries such as America. We are not your little lap dog in Europe as many Europeans have scoffed at us. We are your allied partner and you should be proud to have us, not dictating how we should run our country. I really would like to read one of your articles where there is praise for the bravery and loyalty of other countries. Such as the family of the Menezes and the Brazilian government. I have suspiscious feeling that like other journalists you only write what people want to hear is, is that correct?
