Dear Dr Pipes

Speaking last July, you said, "………….the British have a law in the works now that would prohibit any criticism of religion, which is basically an attempt to shield Islam or Muslims from any criticism, which is an amazing law that has not yet passed, it looks likely to. The government is supporting it."

Well, it was at 19:45 last night (31st.January), that the House of Commons voted against the Government's version of the "Racial and Religious Hatred Bill." There were 2 votes held: in the first vote, the question was whether the RACIAL hatred laws would be changed, and the Government was defeated by 10 votes. On the issue of the RELIGIOUS hatred laws, the Government was defeated BY JUST ONE VOTE!!!

Despite the Government's majority of 67 MP's, and the immense pressure exerted by the Government to get people to vote for the Bill, it is only the second time in 9 years that Labour have lost a vote in the House of Commons. It was a vote which even the opposition MP's said could not be won.

Mr Blair voted in the first vote, but left before the second vote. That means it was the failure of the Prime Minister to vote, which in human terms meant victory for those opposing the Government's "Incitement to Religious Hatred Bill," because there were 26 Labour MP's who had the courage of their convictions that this was a fatally-flawed Bill, and voted against their own Government, based on principle and on the need to protect freedom of expression.

The BBC described it as a "surprise defeat," the London Metro and The Daily Mail described it as a "Shock Defeat," and in The Guardian, Labour Minister Mr Hain, "admitted the Government had been taken by surprise by the defeat."

It is indeed good news. It was a close-run thing though, being defeated by the narrowest of margins, only 1 vote, 283 to 282!! But in the city of Leeds (where I live), the home of 3 of the 4 jihadis of 07/07, it was so disappointing to see that 4 of the 5 Leeds MP's voted with the Government on both votes, the 4 (all Labour MP's) being, John Battle, Hilary Benn, Fabian Hamilton and George Mudie, with only Greg Mulholland (Liberal Democrat, Leeds NW), voting against the Government, on both first and second votes.

I shall be contacting Mr Mulholland, along with the 25 Labour MP's who voted against their own Government, thanking them for doing so and asking them to familiarize themselves with the inescapable fact that Islam is the only constituency in which real incitement to hatred arises, including commandments to violence and murder of non-Muslims, to extend the authority and rule of Islam, and so significantly here, Islam was the constituency most vociferous in pushing the Government for this "Incitement" legislation, and now, we have it, BUT incorporating the Lord's (don't like referring to men as ‘Lords') amendments, including the requirement for "incitement to hatred having been intended." Great stuff!! Islam is "hoist by its own petard" here, just look at what the Qur'an says, and the words that Muhammad (‘the exemplar, the model for all mankind'), spoke in his last sermon 0n 7th.march 632 AD in Mecca:-

"I am leaving you with the Book of Allah (the QUR'AN), and my SUNNAH (the life style and the behavioural mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray."

with the Qur'an saying:-

"Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.
Qur'an 33:21
"good" Muslims" will surely seek to follow their "exemplar," being intentionally incited to hatred and murder, as the following "modified" quotations from the Qur'an show, "modified" by exchanging "Muslim" for "Infidel," "Democracy" for "Islam" and so on. Doing this, clearly demonstrates the force of the original text, showing just what the Qur'an commands of a ‘good' Muslim, who seeks to be obedient to Allah, and to the words and deeds of his "prophet" Muhammad, which are all available in the public domain, recorded in the most authoritative Islamic documents, its "title-deeds" (Qur'an, Hadith, Sunnah, Ta'rikh and Sirat literature).

"And slay Muslims wherever ye catch them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out………such is the reward of those who suppress democracy."
Surah 2:191

"But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Muslims wherever ye find them, And seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war) ; but if they repent (accept reason) and establish regular elections and practice regular charity then open the way for them; for The Law is oft-forgiving, Most Merciful."

"….Parliament promises you much booty (spoils of war) that you will capture from the defeated Muslims…."

"O ye who believe in democracy! when ye meet the Muslims in hostile array, never turn your backs to them. If any do turn his back to them on such a day - unless it be in a stratagem of war, or to retreat to a troop (of his own)- he draws on himself the wrath of Parliament, and his abode is Hell,- an evil refuge (indeed)!"
Surah 8: 15-16

"O you who believe in democracy! Take not Muslims as your advisors, consultants, protectors, helpers, friends, Since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed, We have made clear to you the constitution, if you understand. Lo! You are the ones who love them but they love you not, and you believe in all the Laws i.e., you believe in the Democracy and the Freedom, while they disbelieve in Reason. And when they meet you, they say, ‘We believe.' But when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers at you in rage….."
Surah 3: 118-120

Horrid stuff isn't it? real incitement to religious hatred and murder, which is exactly what the three Leeds Jihadis of 07/07 were inspired to by this stuff, and intended, so the sooner this horrid, hateful, hurtful stuff can be brought into the public square, to demonstrate from Islam's most authoritative sources, the plain wrongness of the mantra that "Islam is peaceful and peaceloving," the better it will be, and lead naturally to introducing Him Who is "The Prince of Peace," and comparing/contrasting Him with Muhammad, who is in fact, the archetypal Islamic terrorist.

I close by saying that last July (don't know whether it was before or after 07/07 though),that Iqbal Sacranie and others from the "CAIR-Clone" The Muslim Council of Britain, met Paul Goggins, a Minister in our Home Office, pestering him to exempt the Qur'an and the Hadith, from the provisions of the legislation, which both they and he, expected to become part of British law, and now it has, but not in the expected form, and I look forward to seeing the Islamic "title-deeds" brought into the public square, and examining what is intended, in words recorded in Islam's most authoritative documents.

Muhammad and the Qur'an, are the deepest source of inspiration for today's jihadists. with their path to the Muslim paradise, ar Janna, being secured only by killing and being killed for Allah, and I conclude with words of Muhammad who was in fact the archetypal Islamic terrorist.

"I shall terrorise the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them, because they oppose Allah and his apostle." (Qur'an 8:12)

"Killing unbelievers is a small matter to us" ( al-Tabari IX:69)

"Paradise lies under the shade of swords" (Sahi Bukhari V4B5N73)

"The believers fight in Allah's cause, they slay and are slain, kill and are killed" (Qur'an 9:111)

"Muhammad said, ‘You are commanded to carry out jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam' " (Qur'an 47:4)

So, now that amended "Incitement to Religious Hatred" legislation is part of British law, it's going to be so important to speak up and speak out, clearly and truthfully, about just who is inciting religious hatred against who, and from where that mandate is derived. It is a dangerous denial of reality, every time there is another act of Islamic terrorism, to be wrongly assured that Islam is an innocent bystander, and that "Islam is peaceful and peaceloving," with the jihadis responsible, often telling us quite plainly where they got their authority and mandate for doing what they did, and that is the example of their "prophet" Muhammad, and from the Islamic "title-deeds."

In nearly all cases, the jihadis have a patently self-evident ambition: to establish a world dominated by Muslims, Islam, and Islamic law, the Shari'a. Islamic terrorists openly declare this goal. Although the jihadis state their motives loudly and clearly, Westerners and Muslims alike, too often fail to hear them, and pretend that "Islam is an innocent bystander in today's terrorism." What the terrorists want is abundantly clear. It requires monumental denial not to acknowledge it, but if despite the evidence of the Islamic title-deeds and the life of Muhammad to the contrary, we believe that "Islam is peaceful and peaceloving," we might as well as peg our brains up at the door and go back to sleep, with even Trevor Philips, head of the Commission for Racial Equality, now speaking about "sleepwalking our way to segregation."

It seems a lifetime ago now that the race-relations industry used to glibly talk about "integration," as if all Muslim immigrants wanted to "integrate" and become like secular Brits, as if, but that's another lengthy email for some other time maybe.
