What to do about Islam's dominate-and-kill-thy-infidel-neighbor mentality.Reader comment on item: Surfboards to Reduce Arab-Israeli Tensions? Submitted by Prashant (United States), Jan 23, 2022 at 21:46 Dear Dr Pipes, Dave, a frequent correspondent at you site correctly described the dominate-and-kill-thy-infidel-neighbor mentality of Muslims. But it is not enough to just cite the examples of Islamic transgressions. We need to do something about it. Our governments have their reasons, predilections, and expediencies but, we the people, need to act in a decisive manner. Before any action takes place, the right thought must occur. First, our world must firmly believe that a subset of Muslims indeed kills non-muslims. If nothing else, we must read and cite Nadia Murad's biography as an evidence of Muslims' murders of non-muslims. The, we must demand superior behavior from Muslims. We should make it clear that in no corner of the world, non-separation of church and state is acceptable because it inhibits people's ability to think freely. We must make it very clear to Muslims that all past, present, and future Islamic nations are illegitimate. Building a nation based on a religion is immoral. Period. Muslims can treat each other or mistreat. That is not our immediate problem. But they must not mistreat us. Any place Islam interacts with non-Muslim, this interaction must meet our common, modern, secular standards. No excuse and zero tolerance. You wanna marry two, four, thirteen or eighteen women, go ahead, do it. That is your ugly choice to make. But if you run a country that gives preference to a Islam over other belief systems, you get as much respect from me as North Korea does or even less. And, what does it mean? It means that I refrain to buy your exports, I do not take my vacations into your countries, and, more importantly, I do not admire you in my private friends and family settings. People need to be outraged by Islamic practices. When two billion people who know nothing about freedom and democracy gang up on a tiny 8900 sq-mile nation, not being outraged is not an option.
