The short term blame goes to Trump, Biden and circa 2020-democratsReader comment on item: How to Answer When Asked for Your Pronouns Submitted by Prashant (United States), Feb 13, 2022 at 13:52 Dear Dr Pipes, You are absolutely right that the US is becoming a trivial country. In the very short term the blame should go to President Trump and to the Democrats circa 2020. First, Trump with his childish anti-China antics during the COVID crisis set exact examples of how the leaders should not speak and behave. Then, the whole woke movement by the democrats where to defeat Trump, the Democrats chose not to say what needed to be said and chose to misguide our youth. There is still time for the politicians before the 2024 elections. The Democrats should actively oppose the woke patterns. The Republicans should find a leader who can present ideas in a coherent manner. Then, we can start solving the real long term problems (like sensible levels of immigration, controlling the communists and Islamists and reducing the national debt).
