Let Muslims and Nazis not usurp the Swastika symbol.Reader comment on item: Scrawled Swastika on Israeli Flag Not Harassment: Concordia University Submitted by Prashant (United States), Apr 5, 2022 at 23:08 Dear Readers, One problem with symbols is that anyone can appropriate and desecrate them. The Nazi Swastika has very close resemblance to the Eastern/Hindu/Buddhist Swastika. It is very unfortunate that the German Nazi stole a sacred eastern symbol and abused it. Our world should slowly and surely try to disassociate Swastika from its link with Nazism. I know it is difficult but it needs to be done. I will also like to surmise that by abusing Swastika allows Muslims of Israel to kill two birds in one shot. First, they insult the Jews and second, they defame the Indian/Eastern infidels. Muslims should be asked to leave the Swastika alone. I will refer the readers to the wiki article on Swastika. This article discusses the importance of this symbol in many cultures throughout the human history.
