How about cleaning mosques out of JerusalemReader comment on item: Scrawled Swastika on Israeli Flag Not Harassment: Concordia University Submitted by Prashant (United States), Apr 21, 2022 at 22:22 Dear Readers, regarding the insensitive cartoon on the (so called) Palestinian Facebook pages calling for brooming the Jews out Temple Mount, I have a different idea. The world should sweep out all Mosques out of Jerusalem. You see, in the year 632, just before he died, Muhammad ordered the first Islamic siege of Jerusalem. It was nothing but the greed of Muhammad that he ordered the attack on Jerusalem. Muhammad's violent methods had already worked well on the splintered Jewish tribes of Arabian peninsula and Muhammad had now become a military looter. Instead of thinking and practicing spiritual pursuits just before he died, he ordered military campaigns. And, he never told his followers that he was not a prophet any more. He was a general. His most loyal follower Abu Bakr, followed Muhammad's advice and attacked Jerusalem within less than 5 years of Muhammad's death (ref1: Documented history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Siege_of_Jerusalem_(636–637)). Muhammad may or may not have been a prophet but Abu Bakr was just a rogue caliph. His attack on Jerusalem had no spiritual value. Muslims must learn it very carefully (perhaps repeat it a thousand times) that just because they capture a piece of land once, it does not become their for ever. Just because they attacked and captured Jerusalem once, it does not become a Muslim territory.
