Self-censorship or bowing to pressure?

Mr. Pipes: My favorite euphemisms for "Islamic terrorists" that I hear all the time from journalists and politicians are "international terrorists" and "rebels." And did you notice that during coverage of the 9/11 anniversary, very little was said by the media or by politicians about who attacked us? It was as if the death and destruction in New York, D.C. and Pennysylvania had been the result of a natural disaster. Apparently it has become politically incorrect in the U.S. to use the words "Moslem" or "radical Islam" when describing the religion and religious motives of the people who attacked us on September 11, and others engaged in murder around the globe. I only hope this self-censorship will be recognized and remedied by our media and politicians and is not a result of journalists and politicians bowing to pressure from Arab lobbyists.
