Adopting a Protective Stance from Turkiye and the Ambitions of Other Middle Eastern Antagonists Against IsraelReader comment on item: Turkey's Expulsion from NATO Remains Unlikely Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Aug 18, 2022 at 18:14 Timing is everything; and as it can be seen, the Gregorian calendar is not the one to guage when the next provocation against Israel may appear. Close quarters combat is in constant play as the 'Palestinian' cause is moving to and fro, between Hamas and Hizbollah, the PA and PIJ all jockeying for the next opportinity to cause Israel grief; after which if the opportunity ecalates tensions to a greater boiling point, Turkiye may finally find its cause to interfere as well. After all, they have already indicated it would not take all that much in the way of faux indignance to motivate attacking from Syria, where the Turkish ambitions of empire are already evident and moving south does not appear all that out of the question. Seriously, what would it take? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
