Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Sep 13, 2022 at 17:40 The interruption of the passing of Britain's longest reigning monarch notwithstanding, remembering September 11, 2001 came and went with the nominal amount of recalling the enormous strength of character of first responders and their legions of residents when being attacked as a representative of freedom globally by a small and cowardly groups of 'religious' Islamic zealots, brought to the mind of this observer how fleeting memory is when modern memories are courted by the same recidivistic attitudes that are still present in current activities, and in the government as well.
