The case of adult breastfeeding in Islam gets curiouser and curiouserReader comment on item: Will Americans Learn What Israelis Already Know? Submitted by Prashant (United States), Dec 25, 2022 at 01:11 Dear Readers, When you research the Islamic affairs deeper, the things get curiouser and curiouser. The circumstances under which the ancient Islamic figure Salim got to suckle or drink the milk of his foster mother umder Muhammad and Aisha's full knowledge are bizarre. The adherents of other religions admit that somethings in their religions can be wrong and when they encounter strange things about their religions, they remain discretely quiet about them. The case of Islam is different. Islam is perfect. So, all bizarre things in Islam must be discussed and justified. Muslims publish research papers about their bizarre things. Here is a research paper about Salim's suckling or drinking his foster mother's breast milk. Goodness gracious. As if it should matter to us, Muhammad ordered and Aisha approved of the suckling incidence. But, perhaps, other wiser wives of Muhammad flatly declined to participate in the incidence. Here is the reference: https://islamcompass.com/on-the-question-of-adult-breastfeeding-in-islamic-tradition/ Muslims need to understand that discussing things literally helps no one. Discrete abandonment of some topics can be perfectly fine and graceful. Try doing it, dear Muslims.
