Dear Dr Pipes, This is to thank reader Robert for his beautiful letter acknowledging India. I feel very proud to have been born in a country in whose culture traces of democracy have been built in since the beginning of time (I must also admit that Hindu culture has also done many unforgivable mistakes). I also feel very proud to have made my home in the USA.

I am a thankful immigrant. I am aware of historical mistakes of the US but I am also extremely thankful for all that the USA has given to humanity and to me personally. Unlike the hypocrite author (Sofia Ali-Khan of 'A Good Country'), I do not make veiled attacks on America. I am very very thankful. The lesser we talk about SAK's trash, the better.
