A similar thing is going on in China and Confucius is presented as a Chinese hero and philosopher (not Mao) all over in institutions outside China where China has invested. You, Prashant, have much more than just the Hindu religion - you have a great Ancient Civilization which brought "new" mathematics to the Greek-Roman world in the Middle Ages. I'm thinking of 0 (Zero) and our Decimal System. As you know the Pakistanis are the same people ("race") as you Indians - the were merely Conquered and Converted by the hordes of Muhammad's armies on horseback. So they also have a rich history that goes back to a time before the birth of Muhammad. Northern Europeans ("Germans" & Slavs" of Russia, Ukraine, Poland, etc.) are like the "wild" tribes of Arabia who were converted by Muhammad, on the other hand, Submitting....
