Looking at Judaism from a Decidedly Differing Perspective - Issues Do Appear Self- Inflicted - But Ignoring the Law Always the Culprit

Understanding Judaism is always a standing situation in which had the People of the Book commencing with Moses stood in better recognition of who Moses was conferring with, then maybe their innate tendencies of rebellion would not have gotten them into so much trouble from the 'git-go.' Even as they were led into a special meeting with the Deity that sent Moses to bring them into the promised land, they resisted for reasons only the Almighty Sovereign understood; and still He claimed them as His People. Only He knows why, right?
So, in the interest of not making too fine of a point of Jewish incomprehensibiltiy, fast forward through the kingdom periods, the Assyrian and Babylonian captivities, the Maccabean and Roman periods leadingto the single greatest moment of Jewish history where a Jewish religious society experienced an awakening of the fulfillment of the Law and the Prophets (Tanakh) in the Holy One of ISrael; and they ceded that moment to the Romans.
Two thousand years later, they are still trying to sort it out: why? Well, the Tanakh, not the Talmud, still holds the answer. But now, the answer has a greater consequence in view; and Israel is in view as being the reason the world is ready to implode for not understanding how the Jewish Nation holds the key. They struggle with democracy when they should be looking for the kingdom promises. Start with Psalm 2; then Isaiah 49 through 55. Everything else is based on that.
