Understanding the Nuclear Dilemma From a Differing Perspective - Humanity May Not Survive a Peace It Cannot EnforceReader comment on item: Fighting the Last War Submitted by M Tovey (United States), Oct 31, 2022 at 18:35 Being a baby boomer having lived most of the American type of lifestyle for nearly the entirety of the nuclear umbrella of threat of global dominace, one aspect that could hardly be anticipated was after the American use of atomic devastation in order to shorten further hostilties and lessen the cost in more casualties trying to bring about the end to a war that really made no real sense to rational thinking, all that American act on behalf of stopping the last war did was fill the minds of similar irrational elitists with possibilites of how to start the next 'incident' and bring the world to nuclear disaster with catastrophic endings caused by suicidal megalomanaical aspirations of unrestrained evil. There are mutiple contenders in the winds for that very act. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
