From the newspaper 'Der Tog', July 17, 1935: Swastika, with the inscription "Long live (sic) Hitler" on the Jerusalem Gate Jerusalem, July 17. - A swastika sign, with the inscription "Viva Hitler!" [sic], appeared today on the cemetery's gate, opposite the tombs of the Jewish kings. Apparently, the Arabs painted the Hitlerite swastika there.
