Apartheid Against Jews in PalestineReader comment on item: Corbyn, Sanders, and the Need for Israel Victory Submitted by Robert (United States), Feb 14, 2023 at 21:48 Dear Dr. Daniel Pipes, I know I'm repeating myself, but it seems there are different ways of saying the same thing. Israelis Jews are accused of practicing Apartheid against Palestinian Arabs. I hope when you write your book about Israel you will expose this hypocrisy. In fact, if you look at what Jews and Palestinians have accomplished in Israel, Mandatory Palestine, Jordan, and the rest of the world (including the USA), one must conclude that Apartheid against Jews is counterproductive. In fact, Jews have played a role in the modernization of the world which is probably the best explanation of modern Antisemitism. You write that Antisemitism is about 2,000 years old; I disagree - Modern Antisemitism is a creation of the 19th Century, first expressed by the German writer who coined the word "Antisemitism." But now it has morphed into Anti-Zionism, a Third Stage. Most human hatreds involve thinking that the hater is better than the hated. The Cane and Able murder shows the jealousy of one brother over another because God chose the offering of one over the other. In the case of Jews in Israel, it is unacceptable that the Jews are doing better than the Palestinians in ever human endeavor, except Victory over the Palestinians. The Jews of Israel are willing to live with Palestinians, if only the Palestinians stopped murdering and terrorizing them. But the Palestinians feel humiliated by the mere fact that Jews have and continue to out-perform them in every way - except Victory. May that too will change for the better for the Jews of Israel and therefore for the Muslim Arabs of Palestine in spite of their Muslim Pride! I appreciate the advice but, no, that is not my book topic. For an idea of my goals, see www.danielpipes.org/blog/2012/01/the-middle-east-forum-strategy-not-advocacy.
