Maps w/o Israel

I was appalled to see the photo's of Kofi Annan sitting at a meeting that commemorates the creation of that nation as "the disaster."

Every day the world reads in obviously biased media reports, that Palestinians have been killed or oppressed in some form or the other, while few report on the grossly despicable acts of terrorism perpetrated by those same Palestinians.

For some of us, it becomes increasingly difficult to accept that Israel is solely responsible for all of the death, destruction, and lack of cooperation. Especially as one witnesses the terrible acts committed against innocent civilians.

In my faith, we are taught to "turn the other cheek." I believe the same is true for the Jewish faith. Yet, one must surely begin to ponder that even Christ felt there was a limit to just how much cheek turning one was to endure before they slapped back, hard!
To date, I have been relatively proud my nation has stuck with Israel and also attempted to find some sort of peace for all to live with. Sure, its a fine line. But living in peace should be worst some sacrifice. Based on terrorist acts though, the line I speak of appears to fade into obscurity as deaths of innocent civilians mount.

The United Nations began a long time ago, to take "sides" on issues that I feel are purely political in nature. When the General Assembly was goaded into sending a case against the "wall" to the International Court of Justice, I was really surprised. That act was also laden with political spite. That the ICJ accepted the case, and then ruled against Israel, shocked me.

Obviously, a corrupt and corrupted United Nations would be useless to freedom loving people. Kofi Annan's financially corrupt, rape ignoring, peacekeeping failures as Secretary-General, plus his actually coming out endorsing a political candidate in the American elections, demonstrated to me that he was clearly incapable of running an organization intended to be neutral in international affairs.
Until the media, the UN General Assembly, and a multitude of others, comes out to support non partisan reporting & actions against Israel, the world will need to look to folks like Mr. Pipes for reasonable reports of what is really happening in the Mideast peace process.

One day folks may realize that in not defending Israel, all they do is harm to folks who may stand up to save them from a similar plight, when the murderers come for them. And I am convinced the murderers will come for any they feel they can attack if they feel they are weak.
