Who has broken the enigma for real

I was reading Walt's comment saying "British didn't capture enigma, American did so in 1943", in real Enigma wasn't captured by British, or American. Polish had the codes already in the late 1920's/very early 1930's. Germans were so sure of those codes that they weren't changing it a lot, and if did so - Poles were quickly sorting it out as they had their own copy of Enigma. When Poland has entered the allied forces they passed it to the British, so they could also read the German messages.

That's the whole story, Walt - read before you say something, i know that America hasn't got a good education system but you should try to confirm your informations.
