They Just Might Have Learned Their LessonReader comment on item: Lost Diplomats Just Step on the Gas Submitted by Frank Luke (United States), May 9, 2002 at 22:24 There is a possibility that the Palestinians and Arabs might have learned the lesson that when Israel is kind, she is not weak, so they ought to accept her kindness and make peace, instead of taking it as a sign of weakness. I am writing this on May 9, 2002, after the trouncing Israel gave the Palestinians. There is a possibility, of course, that they will never learn, but we need to explore the possibility that they HAVE done so, at long last. We need to bear in mind that Israel has 2 sensible options: 1. Totally annihilate Palestinians, or 2. Make peace with them... For their own sake, I hope the Palestinians give up their terrorism and learn to live in peace. I get the impression no one is teaching Palestinians HOW to live in peace.
