The comments made by Daniel Pipes on Hamas are on the money. Christian community leaders in the Holy Land gathered for a symposium in Jerusalem today to discuss their worries, being ruled by Hamas laws. They shared their concerns with the last hope for salvation-Israel. There is no end to irony in the region. Strangers, non Muslim, will be delegated to an inferior status and could be subject to extra taxaton according to Koranic laws from the 6th Century.

Only time will tell if religious freedom, free speech and respect for women will be truly observed. The Europeans donors want to continue the charitable giving and keep appeasing. They will soon learn what this giving is about.

With European timidity and fear this undisputed victory makes it very tempting for Islamists elsewhere to give it a go. They cannot see how they could go wrong on their march towards victorious Jihad.
