Western Governments Still Avoid Naming the EnemyReader comment on item: Not Calling Islamism the Enemy Submitted by steven L (United States), Apr 15, 2006 at 16:04 Several reasons may explain this situation:Many working in foreign services (US, Fr. GB) have a longing for the "Arabists/Orientalists" and prefer to dream of the lost past rather face reality. There is the "Danish cartoons" effects with fear of retribution from extremists. This effect was always present long before the anti Danish "folie". Islamists can unleash very quickly and easily a mob of fanatics. An important factor is the self inflicted concept of "political correctness" which does not exist in the Koran. Therefore for the Koran the idea that the ends justify the means is totally acceptable. The brain washing of young adults male and female as well as children use as suicide bombs is only one example. The killing of Israeli and westerners by Palestinians and other Islamic fanatics rather than taking prisoner for exchange is another example. In many large and medium size cities of Europe (Fr, Belgium, Sweden), areas are now totally controlled by Muslims, to the point that even the police are persona non-grata. The Islamists use the Muslim immigrants as proxy to intimidate and to induce into submission the original citizen. These citizen are scared to react out of political correctness because they do not want to be labeled as racist or anti Muslims while these same Muslims are now exanguinating the social and financial support system of these countries of adoption by bringing their multiple wives and extended families. Although polygamy is against the law in several Europeans countries none dare to impose the law and to punish the violators! It would be politically incorrect! Another major issue is the complex of superiority of the followers of the Koran. They state that the Koran and the shari'a are superior to any other organized system or religion. The failure or refusal for any non Muslim to respect their believe is by definition politically incorrect and inadmissible. Soon or later where ever Muslims acquire a sufficient mass effect (not counting the billions of $ spent to spread their trade) they will overturn to their benefit the system in which they live and impose their believe of superiority. Where others (seculars or other religious groups) accept and recognize different point of view as "Equal right of different opinion", Muslims claiming superiority of the shari'a and the Koran will inevitably trigger soon or later a confrontation. Last but not least, Europe, the leftist and liberals (USA) of the world havtheir own intellectual complex of superiority over people believing in organized religions. They believe in their inner secular superiority but will need other to fight their battles when Islam decide to conquer physically the rest of the world. The west in the meantime is sleeping. A rude awakening is in the not so far future. There are of course many other reasons not to say the least, the responsibility of the western world abuses of the past, present and future.
