The EU FantasylandReader comment on item: Not Calling Islamism the Enemy Submitted by Roy Weinberg (United States), Apr 16, 2006 at 18:51 So, according to an EU official; "Jihad is a perfectly positive concept of trying to fight evil within yourself." Maybe that official would have a different understanding of Jihad if he would talk to a man named Mujahid el-Masih. Masih is a former Muslim who defined Jihad this way: "The main theme of Jihad is the murdering of Christians and Jews."Unless the EU and America awake from their liberal comas, then they can plan on fighting the "long war" in their streets instead of watching it on the nightly news. If that EU official really wants to understand what Islam is truly all about, then he should consult people such as el-Masih instead of the assorted Islamic propagandists who assure us that Islam is a "religion of peace" and that Iran has absolutely no intentions of developing nuclear weapons. Islamists have a concept they call "Taqiyya" which essentially is telling lies to "unbelievers" to hide one's true intentions. Though Hitler wasn't a Muslim, he perfected Taqiyya to an art-form. He used Taqiyya to con British prime minister Neville Chamberlain into believing that he had no intentions of taking over Europe, despite stating otherwise in his inflamed speeches and writings. If EU officials and the assorted lefties that inhabit the US government want to play modern Neville Chamberlains and buy into the canard that is being churned out like cheap Wisconsin cheese from the Islamic world, then that's their choice. However, they would do well to get copies of the Qu'ran and the Hadith and read them before they swallow that canard.
