Comedy Central ... worse than the SimpsonsReader comment on item: Danish Cartoon Aftershocks Submitted by Nabil Shwarma (Canada), Apr 17, 2006 at 09:07 Dr Pipes:Have you ever seen the episode where Lisa, Bart's sister, finds religion? This episode starred Richard Gere. Irritated with the comerciality of her church, Rev. Lovejoy, she sought to find a different religion to belong to. Every religion was mentioned and was the object of slight ridicule - except one that was never mentioned nor never appeared in writing. Which one do you think that one was? Are they so afraid that Muslim gangs will seek them out and beat them up? Possibly. Furthermore, several other episodes have poked humor at various religious groups - Crusty the Clown's Jewish roots - Apu's Hindu roots, etc.. FURTHER EVIDENCE THAT PEOPLE WILL AVOID THE WRATH OF A BULLY April 16 - Suicide Bomberess in Tel Aviv - Hamas refuses to condemn - Is anyone listening?
