iranian ambassador articleReader comment on item: Danish Cartoon Aftershocks Submitted by daniel silverlind (Germany), Apr 26, 2006 at 10:57 Today, the iranian ambassador in Sweden, Hassan Ghashghavi, published an article about Irans peaceful interest in nuclear power in the swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet (and perhaps others as well). He makes use of the sha´hs old argument that Iran wishes to use nuclear reactors instead of gas or oil to produce electrical power, thus beeing able to export more gas and/or oil and thereby making up for the cost of the nuclear facilities inclusive uranium enrichment. Link (only in swedish, I´m afraid): http://www.svd.se/dynamiskt/brannpunkt/did_12479332.asp Daniel Pipes: would it be possible for you to counter this propaganda? An article in Svenska Dagbladet or in Dagens Nyheter would do lots of good.

Daniel Pipes replies: Thank you for the invitation but I am not a specialist on the Iranian nuclear program. << Previous Comment Next Comment >> Reader comments (13) on this item
