False info in apology: Scientology episode also censored by Viacom at behest of CruiseReader comment on item: Danish Cartoon Aftershocks Submitted by Dan Schwartz (United States), Apr 23, 2006 at 07:23 It's worth noting that Comedy Central's parent, Viacom, also censored the "Trapped in the Closet" episode at the behest of their "star" Tom Cruise, to protect their investment in "Mission Impossible 3;" with Cruise threatening to not travel on MI-3 PR junkets if the episode was not yanked. This is the episode with Stan first yelling "Tom, get out of the closet!;" and then fellow Scientologist John Travolta joining him.
