Cult of Personality is Not a Religion

It is unfortunate that we in the west refuse to really face the truth about Islam and instead continuously try to appeal to the 'better angels' of the Islamic spirit by looking under every rock for a 'moderate' to stand up and 'lead' the true 'non-violent religion' away from it's terrorist 'hijackers'. It is a dead end for western civilization if we take this path. The president of Israel is on this path, and that is a sad day for the world.

Islam as practiced today is not a legitimate religion---it is a cult of personality of the 'Prophet'. Just as Mao had his secular religion in China, and as Stalin and Hitler had their cults of personality in their respective countries, what the Jihadists like Bin Laden and the Ayatollahs have successfully accomplished is to universalize a cult of personality around 'God's messenger', Mohammed. Just as in China's 'Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution', Mao used teenagers and students and peasants to attack the government bureaucracy he had created, so too do the Jihadists. If you think you are going to heaven on the 'A' train right after you explode, if you think Mohammed is going to be there with 72 virgins for you, hell that's a great way to go. Unfortunately we do not spend time or resources attacking the basis of Islam which is dysfunctional superstition. ...

I'm not a Jew, and I'm not a practicing Christian, but if I have a choice between a holy man who jumped into to a crowd to keep a prostitute from being stoned to death (Jesus) and a 'holy man' who consummated his marriage to a 9 year old girl, it's not a hard choice. We in the west need to get past our institutional co-dependence and start kicking the toxic superstition junkies in Islam to the curb everywhere on the planet. They are the new neanderthals. We are homo sapiens.
