Palestinian Authority ExposedReader comment on item: Will Yasser Arafat try to stop suicide bombings? Submitted by Sam lahiri (United States), May 23, 2002 at 15:26 I vividly recall the interview which I watched with amusement. In a rare moment of truth, Hasan Abdul Rahman had not only exposed him but the Palestinian Authority in general. Can they be negotiated with after this ? - hell no.I believe Israel has shown extreme consideration and regard for civilian life by sending their troops in Jenin in harm’s way to conduct house to house search and apprehend the suspects. The administration knew fully well there would be boobytraps abound and sniper attacks from all fronts by a bunch of idiotic monsters whose only goal in life is to die for the Allah and be given a place by him in heaven to drink, eat and ... for eternity. I think the Israel Government should be commended for showing such restraint against a bunch of barbarians who think nothing of blowing innocent women and children to bits. But in reality Israel is being taken to task by the entire world including the European nations. Maybe I am missing something here. Is Islam not a growing threat for the entire world ?! There was a recent poll conducted by an independent agency in Palestine. The question was – which is better, just negotiations or negotiations coupled with suicide bombing to keep the pressure. 57 % of ordinary Palestinians on the street opted for the second option.
