If Israelis believe they have been defeated...

If the Israeli public believes that the Palestinians have won and that they the Israelis have lost, it doesn't matter what the reality is. There is an old joke that if you are wrestling with gorilla, success for you isn't when you get tired, it's when the gorilla gives up. Well, Israel got tired, and the gorilla won.
