the movie submission would've never been allowed to be made in a accepting society, because it will hurt a huge part of the community. That's what society is about , a community that does not hurt each other. We seem to forget that.

You all talk about how the muslim religion is bad. No one actually looks at the root of this problem. Religion is a idea, a great idea, they were made to make us as human beings behave decent, to collectively follow a set of rules; to be decent to each other. And like all institutions people have found ways of exploiting that, the vatican in the early ages, they weren't run by good and honest people. The ones in charge were power hungry and wanted everyone to follow them. Look what happened in the past before you start babbling. The religion was sound but people interpret their own meanings into it, then bend the idea to fit their twisted value system.

And if you believe that religious killings don't happen now adays between other religions, get your head out of the sand and look to the world scan the headlines. There are neo-nazis around doing that, the white supramsist in the states, the palestine, israel fiasco , trust me no one fights that much over a peice of dirt that doesn't grow anything. It's not the religions we should worry about it s the zealots. Anyone who will fight to the extreme in anything is one to worry about, because they won't listen. Anyone remember when times were good you never worked as hard as you do now, never had to lock your doors at night, could afford to by what you wanted, well everyone has those moments, someone will remind of that and point at someone else and say "he is to blame, because of him you are the way you feel". That ladies and gentlemen is how you become a leader in our free society nowadays.

By the way I am a muslim living in Canada who will befriend anyone of my choosing religion or color is not an barrier. Whether if you're a jew , christian muslim, hindu, or anyother. We put so much stock into abolishing racism that we created a new type and guess what muslims are at the bottom of the barrel. The easiest way to resolve violence is to educate people in an open forum, I mean really educate, talk to eachother and take the best part and apply it to your self. My friends are aware that I won't eat pork but I don't stop them, when we got out for dinner they will order what ever fancies them but be considerate enough to tell me what is coming to the table. All in all just take a step back breathe, relax and see how you are among your friends and treat others in kind.

By the way to all dutch people, toleration is not the same thing as accepting or welcoming. Toleration will only lead towards anger.
