Authorities in Denial as to the true nature

The piece in the Seattle Times spent most of its effort describing Mr Haq as a vicitm, describing his job losses, etc, painting him as a victim. Police announcements continued to deny any and all religious aspects of the event. Yet they placed policemen around Mosques!!
